This project is a materialisation for the wellness zone of Loi Spa, located in Madrid.
In a exploration of the role of the arc through the architectural history of public baths, the project uses the arcs to divide the different bath zones and create a spatial experience that is both spirited and atmospheric, characteristics of the ancient baths.
The architects aimed to cause certain tenderness that comes from the sense of slowness of detachment from time and space, refinement, and aftertaste to art, mixing the emblematic Jurassic Stone, tinted blue glass and bronze brazz elements based over a turquoise background palette.
Este projeto é a materialização da zona de bem-estar do Loi Spa, localizado em Madrid.
Numa exploração do papel do arco ao longo da história arquitetônica das termas públicas, o projeto utiliza os arcos para dividir as diferentes áreas de banho e criar uma experiência espacial ao mesmo tempo animada e atmosférica, características das termas antigas.
Os arquitetos procuraram provocar uma certa ternura que nasce da sensação de lentidão, do desapego do tempo e do espaço, do requinte e do retrogosto artístico, misturando a emblemática Pedra Jurássica, vidro tingido de azul e elementos em bronze fundido sobre uma paleta de fundo turquesa.
